Hopeful Globe: Developing New Teaching and Learning Methods in India

Luna Erica (GINTL) and Deepti Bora (GINTL) are joined by Mirjami Jeskanen (mirjami.jeskanen@utu.fi), who is an education expert as well as the main coordinator of the faculty of education for a GINTL-funded project titled “Developing New Teaching and Learning Methods in India”. This episode discusses the Tata Steel Foundation and the way it has started to educate out-of-school children as well as other groups collaborating in this project, such as Aspire and the ViLLE learning platform. Most of all, the episode discusses change – how it has been made in the past, how it should be made in the future, and the ways it is being made right now.
