Impulse Control Disorders in Parkinson’s Disease Patients with Mark Stacy, MD

There's a type of medication often prescribed to people with Parkinson's disease that can cause impulse control issues in some patients. In this episode, Mark Stacy, MD, discusses this topic and how people impacted can be helped early and easily at the first signs of problems. Stacy is a MUSC Health neurologist with more than 30 years of experience in caring for patients with Parkinson's disease. He was one of the first doctors to report problems of impulse control disorders in some Parkinson's disease patients taking dopamine agonist medications.
