These cases represent a sobering reminder that officers are being unjustly charged for crimes while doing a job the public has asked them to do.

Reviewing these cases brings about a discussion about the use of the taser in law enforcement. Over the years the taser has been pushed up to a higher level of force for officers, causing it to become a tool that is less useful and more of a liability for officers.
