2025 Media, Technology & Culture Trend Reports

After a long hiatus, Gritpod prepares to return in 2025. It seemed pertinent to take a step back while the creative industries were going through some turbulent and seismic changes. In preparation for a new season, that will seek to look at these shifts, we did a deep dive AI analysis into the annual trend reports.

These reports explore evolving media and entertainment trends, focusing on the impact of artificial intelligence, shifting consumer behaviour, and the rise of creator-driven content. Key themes include the increasing importance of short-form video, the growth of niche communities and fandoms, and the need for brands to adapt to a more fragmented and AI-driven media landscape. They also examine the changing nature of storytelling, the rise of immersive experiences, and the evolving relationship between brands and creators. Finally, they offer insights and predictions for the future of media and entertainment, emphasizing the importance of authenticity, emotional connection, and agile strategies in the face of rapid technological advancement.

We will return to human powered and authentic conversations in 2025.
