Episode 6: Biased Learning

Our world is increasingly becoming one where we use computers and machines to help us make decisions. Surely, lines of code are better at handling bias than people, right? Or are they not so different from us at all? Today, we’re joined by two UCR students, Kayla Chaplin, a Social Psychology PhD Student, and Dimitris Chatziparaschis, an Electrical and Computer Engineering PhD Student, to learn about the back and forth between psychology and computer sciences in reducing the biases in ourselves and our creations.
