EP36: Child Abuse through the Pandemic

Dr. Mary Pulido, Ph.D., Executive Director of The New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (The NYSPCC).

The NYSPCC - the world's first child protection agency - is a New York-based, national organization, involved in everything from counseling and trauma recovery programs to education programs and legislation, all with the goal of eradicating child abuse in all its forms someday. Though COVID-19 has presented many challenges in ensuring that our youth remain safe, Dr. Pulido and The NYSPCC have managed to find innovative ways of pressing forward to continue the critical work they are dedicated to doing (see below for additional information).

Abuse Talk Podcast currently offers a series of interviews with those that work in the domestic abuse sector. Getting an inside feel for what its really like in their job role and sharing it with all of you.

Now mixing with survivor stories.
