The Invincible Iron Man (2007) A Deep-Dive Into The ORIGINAL Iron Man Movie! Part Two

Join us for a deep-dive into Marvel’s ORIGINAL Iron Man movie, the 2007 animated feature film “Invincible Iron Man”! The year before the MCU began, the year before Robert Downey Jr, Jon Favreau, and Kevin Feige brought Tony Stark to the big screen, Marvel partnered up with Lionsgate to create the first and original Iron Man movie - a feature length animated film on DVD. We’ll take you behind-the-scenes on the Marvel / Lionsgate deal, the talent of the writers and animators involved, the different animation styles, and everything it took to make this movie. We'll also go behind-the-page on Iron Man in the 2000's, how a series of terrible creative decisions at Marvel were ruining the character, and what it took to make the character relevant again in time for the birth of the MCU! And then we’ll deep-dive the movie itself, to explore what it got right, what it got VERY wrong, all the things it changed about Iron Man, and all the differences with the live-action movie that would come out the following year! Plus there's tons of history and trivia about Tony Stark's childhood, his different armours, the Mandarin, the Jade Dragon, Fin Fang Foom, and so much more!
