‘Seeking Sister Wife’ Garrick Merrifield SENTENCED For Domestic Incident. Survivor Star, Stephen Fishbach Exposes How Reality TV MANIPULATES You In New Book. Friday, January 30th, 2026 | Sarah Fraser

In this episode, I break down the major updates from Garrick Merrifield's domestic violence case—he's been sentenced to a six-week domestic conflict class and is moving to California with Lorena, who's apparently back together with him despite everything. I also dive into the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni drama, discussing the newly released voicemail that honestly feels like a complete nothing burger, and share Brandon Skelnar’s refusal to comment on the situation. But the real highlight of this episode is my conversation with Survivor legend Stephen Fishbach, who just wrote an incredible book called "Escape" about the dark side of reality TV. Steven pulls back the curtain on how producers manipulate contestants through subtle psychological tactics, the bizarre intimacy of cuddling for warmth while backstabbing each other, and the psychological aftermath of reality TV fame. My husband Mann joins the interview because he's obsessed with Survivor, and Steven actually tries to convince him to apply for the show—which I've been telling him to do for years!
