Katy Perry Goes TO SPACE! Day 1 of the 12 Laughs of Christmas

"This is why so many people get fingered in Wetherspoons" - Laura Smyth 2025

Deck the halls and hide your uncles - Laura Smyth and Carmen Butcher welcome you to The 12 Laughs of Christmas, a festive feast of 12 snack-sized episodes packed with their most unhinged and iconic viral moments of 2025. And this is Day 1.

For the first laugh of Christmas, the duo dive headfirst into Katy Perry’s highly questionable “trip to space” aboard Blue Origin, alongside Gayle King, Lauren Sánchez, Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyen, and Kerianne Flynn - with absolutely no one behaving like an adult. From zero-gravity glam to mid-air chaos, it only gets messier from there.

There’s also chat about conspiracy theories, 50 Cent’s faltering acting career, and several wild tangents no one asked for… but everyone needed.

And because it’s Christmas Eve, Laura and Carmen unwrap their own festive traditions - expect emotional oversharing, rogue relatives, and an alarming amount of fish discourse.

Tune in, laugh irresponsibly, and finally discover why Wetherspoons is apparently the nation’s top finger-based danger zone. After all, everyone needs to double up for a quid.
