May 2026 Energy Forecast: Fire, Fortune & Fast-Moving Change

May 2026 marks the beginning of a powerful energetic shift as the fire energy of the year expands and intensifies.

In this episode of Smashing Secrets Feng Shui, Jo explores the energetic forecast for May 2026, beginning from 5th May, as we move from the spring wood influence into the rising fire of summer. With the Fire Horse year, Period 9 energy, and the month of the Snake all coming together, this is a time of momentum, visibility, transformation, emotional intensity and fast-moving opportunities.

This month may bring breakthroughs, recognition, confidence, passion and prosperity — especially for those who are ready to be seen. But with so much fire energy in the atmosphere, it can also create overwhelm, restlessness, impatience, burnout or emotional flare-ups if it isn’t consciously managed.

Jo shares how to work with this powerful energy rather than be swept away by it, including which Feng Shui sectors are most supportive during May, which areas to approach with care, and how different BaZi Day Masters may experience the month.

In this episode, we explore:

• Why May 2026 marks a major increase in fire energy
• How this month can support visibility, launches, reputation and recognition
• Why water Day Masters may see wealth opportunities emerging
• How earth, wood and metal Day Masters may experience the month differently
• The importance of discernment when opportunities arrive quickly
• How to avoid burnout, scattered energy and emotional overwhelm
• The most favourable Feng Shui sectors for May: Northeast, Northwest, West, Southeast, North and South
• Why the Southwest and East sectors need extra care this month
• How to use fire, earth and metal elements to balance and direct the energy
• Why May is a powerful month for endings, beginnings and stepping into a bigger version of yourself

This is a month to prepare, align, refine and be ready. The fire energy is rising — and if you can work with it consciously, May could open the door to powerful new beginnings.
