The Violent Demise of Monetary Supremacy w/Radhika Desai

Full Audio of YouTube Livestream!!!!

Adnan and Benji in this collaboration with Resistance is Fertile podcast continue their conversation with Radhika Desai about the latest developments in geopolitical economy. We discuss the consequences of Iran's restriction of commercial trade through the Strait of Hormuz for dollar hegemony and more broadly on the global economy. We'll learn about swap lines and the UAE and other gulf economic vulnerabilities. Perhaps we will also assess the view that China is the key target of the Iran War and the theory that global energy control has been the main strategic goal of US interests. Ahead of the Trump-Xi summit it will be useful to examine and understand China's position during the imperialist war in West Asia. Post your questions in case we have time to get to them too!
