Led by the Spirit: Living with the Mind of Christ

What does it actually mean to be led by the Holy Spirit?

In this message, Julian unpacks Romans 8 and invites us beyond a shallow understanding of spirituality into a life deeply shaped by the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit.

Far from being opposed to our intellect, emotions, imagination, or decision-making, the Holy Spirit transforms the very way we think, helping us live from hope, wisdom, and intimacy with God rather than fear, shame, or worldly patterns of thinking.

In this message, you'll discover:

What Romans 8 teaches about the contrast between living according to the flesh and living according to the Spirit
Why being led by the Spirit involves the renewal of our minds, not the abandonment of them
How the Holy Spirit reshapes our emotions, imagination, intellect, and worldview
What it means to have the mind of Christ
Why followers of Jesus are no longer joined to condemnation, shame, or legalism, but are permanently united with Christ
How intimacy with the Holy Spirit changes the way we make decisions, process anxiety, and navigate uncertainty
Why hope is the natural inheritance of those who are led by the Spirit
How learning to think with God opens the door to creativity, wisdom, breakthrough, and kingdom solutions

Julian reminds us that the Holy Spirit is not simply given for powerful moments or emotional experiences, but to transform us from the inside out, renewing our thinking, anchoring our identity, and teaching us to live as beloved sons and daughters of God.

Because those who are led by the Spirit are not driven by fear, shame, or obligation. They live from inheritance, intimacy, and the confident expectation that the God who dwells within them is able to lead them into life, peace, and true freedom.
