Angels Part One

Angels – Part One

Charles Capps

Angels are an important part of God's creation, yet they are often misunderstood. The Bible reveals that angels are ministering spirits sent by God to serve His purposes and minister to those who belong to Him. Understanding their biblical role strengthens our confidence in God's care without taking our focus off Jesus Christ.

In this episode, we'll begin a biblical study of angels and discover what God's Word teaches about these heavenly servants.

We'll explore:

Who angels are and why God created them.
The purpose of angels in God's plan of redemption.
How angels minister to believers according to God's will.
The relationship between God's Word, faith, and angelic ministry.
Why our authority comes through Jesus Christ—not through angels themselves.
Avoiding myths and remaining grounded in biblical truth.
Living with confidence, knowing God is actively working on behalf of His children.

The Bible reminds us that while angels serve an important role, our worship belongs to God alone. As we trust the Lord and walk in obedience to His Word, we can rest in the assurance that He faithfully watches over His people.

Revelation 22:8–9
