You’re experiencing headaches, dizziness, brain fog, light sensitivity, nausea, balance problems, or difficulty concentrating after a head injury, but your MRI was normal. How can that be?

A normal MRI does not mean your concussion symptoms aren’t real. Conventional MRI is excellent for identifying certain structural problems, but many concussion symptoms arise from changes in how the brain and nervous system are functioning—changes that may not appear on routine imaging.
