#29 - Alison Capra - Starting Jiu-Jitsu as a New Mom

Alison Capra started Jiu-Jitsu at 36 years old, 6 months post partum, wanting to be physically fit and capable of self-defense. Jiu-Jitsu gave her discipline, confidence, and a sense of awareness for personal safety. It helped her lose weight and become the best version of herself. Alison encourages women, especially new moms, to not let age or physical limitations hold them back from starting Jiu-Jitsu.
