Bitcoin merchant adoption is growing in Hong Kong—but does any of it matter if Bitcoiners refuse to actually spend their sats? Zach Wizenberg is helping turn Bitcoin from something people simply hold into money they can actually use.

Zach makes the case that merchant adoption is ultimately a supply-and-demand problem: getting businesses to accept Bitcoin is only half the equation. If Bitcoiners never spend it, merchants have little reason to keep accepting it—and Bitcoin risks functioning primarily as a speculative asset instead of usable currency.

Bitcoin isn't just something to save. It's money—and money is meant to be used.
