How Caleb Flynn’s Girlfriend Helped Him Wipe His Phone

On the last night of Ashley Flynn’s life, Caleb Flynn’s girlfriend went to ChatGPT and searched how to permanently delete messages from his phone. She screenshotted the instructions and sent them to him. Hours later, Ashley was shot twice in the head.

Alleigha Botner testified in Flynn’s Miami County murder trial about the affair, the texts, and what she did on Valentine’s Day weekend 2026. She told the jury Flynn talked about wanting Ashley dead for months — and that she heard it, stayed with him, and never warned anyone.

She testified Flynn laid out a step-by-step divorce plan for Monday morning, February 16. His last text that night: “Good night, tomorrow’s a big day, I got to get to bed.” She said she believed he meant divorce.

When she learned Ashley was dead, she testified her first thought was “too much of a coincidence.” She texted Flynn asking if he was involved, then deleted the text. She denied the affair to the FBI four days later. Botner told the jury she hates him now because she believes he killed his wife. The defense didn’t object — and they haven’t asked her a single question yet. Cross-examination starts Thursday.
