Caleb Flynn, the former American Idol contestant and worship pastor, is on trial in Miami County, Ohio, for the aggravated murder of his wife Ashley. Prosecutors say the messages between Flynn and his mistress show a man planning murder while texting his wife love messages with the other hand.

Bryan Kohberger pleaded guilty to the Idaho student murders and was sentenced to four consecutive life sentences. He filed a handwritten petition claiming he was coerced into confessing. His family just released a statement to ABC News demanding a proper trial.

Scott examines the psychology of denial, manipulation, compartmentalized lives, and the people who stand beside someone accused of the unthinkable.

Flynn has pleaded not guilty. Kohberger's hearing is set for June 2027.
