The Divine Palindrome: 6 - The Pruning Process

When I rescued Blue, his healing required 13 months of painful baths. From his perspective, I was the source of his pain. From my perspective, I was the source of his healing.

I couldn't explain the theology to him. I could only get in the tub and hold him.

This episode explores the difficult reality of spiritual pruning:

  • Why God cuts away things we think we need

  • The difference between punishment and pruning

  • How to trust the Gardener when the shears are sharp

  • The lesson of Blue's baths: Presence > Explanation

🐾 Episode Highlights:

  • The weekly battle of the nail grinder

  • Blue's 13-month recovery from mange

  • Addie's trauma from a bad vet experience

  • Why God doesn't always explain the pain, but always shares it

For anyone walking through a season of loss, pain, or confusion.
