Sunny Hostin DEFENDS "Cornell 7" — Greenwald Calls Mob Justice "Sinister & Dangerous"

In this episode Jimmy discusses the controversial Cornell University sexual-assault case involving a former student who alleged that seven fraternity members gang-raped her while she was intoxicated and using ketamine. The discussion highlights Sunny Hostin's legal analysis that, under her interpretation of New York law, voluntary intoxication alone does not automatically establish inability to consent, and it emphasizes details from the earlier statement describing consensual sexual activity, boundaries being respected, and the difficulty prosecutors would face proving criminal charges beyond a reasonable doubt.

Jimmy cites Glenn Greenwald who focuses on due process and the presumption of innocence, criticizing the public dissemination of the accused students' names and photographs and comparing the controversy to the Duke lacrosse case, while Stef Zamorano emphasizes the seriousness of the allegations and the effects of alcohol and ketamine on everyone involved. The segment concludes with criticism of political and social-media reactions to the case, including comments by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, while arguing that alleged misconduct, criminal liability, and public punishment without a conviction should be distinguished.

Plus segments on the recent US military decision to pull out of Iraq entirely and President Trump expressing support for Flock cameras.
