7 Good Minutes: Extra - A Two-Minute Way to Park Your Workday

7 Good Minutes: Extra - A Two-Minute Way to Park Your Workday

Work has a way of following you into the evening when it's unfinished — and the fix isn't trying harder to relax, it's giving the unfinished part somewhere to wait.

This is the two-minute practice for doing exactly that: picking the one or two things most likely to follow you home, writing down where you stopped and the very next step with a time attached, then doing one small thing that marks the switch from work to home.

It won't quiet everything, but it's usually enough to walk through the door carrying less.
