Terrorist Nidal Hasan to be Executed by Military Firing Squad, plus When USAID Funding Halted, Marxists STOPPED WINNING in Latin America

In this episode of Verdict with Ted Cruz, Senator Ted Cruz and Ben Ferguson examine President Trump's approval of Hasan's execution and revisit the 2009 Fort Hood massacre, including the Obama administration's decision to categorize the attack as workplace violence rather than terrorism. Cruz also shares his role in securing Purple Hearts for affected service members and discusses the warning signs that were allegedly missed before the attack occurred. The conversation then turns to USAID, Elon Musk's role leading DOGE reforms, and the political realignment taking place across Latin America. Cruz and Ferguson analyze election results in countries including Bolivia, Chile, Honduras, Peru, and Colombia, and debate whether the reduction of U.S.-funded programs has contributed to the region's recent shift toward conservative leadership.

Seventeen years after the deadly Fort Hood attack, the U.S. military has scheduled the execution of Nidal Hasan, the former Army major convicted of murdering 13 people and wounding dozens more in what many have described as an act of radical Islamic terrorism. The decision marks a major development in one of the most notorious terrorism cases on American soil and raises renewed questions about justice, accountability, and how the attack was handled by government officials at the time. At the same time, a dramatic political shift is unfolding across Latin America. Following the Trump administration's decision to restructure and significantly reduce USAID operations, a series of center-right and conservative electoral victories has sparked debate about the agency's influence abroad and the role of U.S. funding in shaping political outcomes.
