About Our Guest: Stephanie Westdal (she/her) is an internationally acclaimed, award-winning recording artist whose unique blend of modern pop/rock and sensual vocals offers listeners a fresh and explosive musical experience.

Her fearless songwriting addresses deeply personal yet universal themes, including her mental health journey with self-harm (Bleed) and surviving sexual violence (Lesser Than).

Westdal, who has lived abroad most of her life and is now based in Winnipeg, appears regularly on local and national media — including the CBC, Radio-Canada, Corus Entertainment and Rogers TV — and hosts Music Day in Canada, a nationwide showcase of Canadian music.

Her song Common Chain (Into The Blue, 2012) was selected for the Compassion Project: Songs for Animal, Human, and Earth Justice 2025.

She received the 2024 Winnipeg Nightlife and Style Awards for local music artist and Ur Life Ur Mixtape’s 2026 pop artist of the year. Westdal’s single “Want You So Bad” was a semi-finalist selection for the International Songwriting Competition 2025 and won Best Song at The Intercontinental Music Awards 2026.

Her collaboration with The Ranger System on her song "Bleed remix ft. The Ranger System won Best Song at the Filmique International Film Festival 2026.

In addition to her album Into the Blue (2012) and EP Sha Booboo Burger (2014) Westdal has released 9 new singles (2024-26) and two official music videos.

Westdal founded The Goddess Series in 2025 as a Winnipeg-based, seasonal, national event series, showcasing women and female identifying artists in music, fashion and visual arts.
