Episode 90: Big, Bold, Bison

Episode 90: Big, Bold, Bison

This week we discuss the national animal of the United States, the American Bison. We also touch upon its closely related cousin, the European Bison. Once numbering in the millions, the American Bison was reduced to just under 350 animals in the United States. The European Bison’s tale is similar. However, conservation efforts have saved both species and today they number in the thousands. Patreon Please considering supporting us at Patreon HERE. We have so far released our first special episode, the Cheetah, and our conservation news for May 2019. In addition, each month we will donate 25% of any money donated to a conservation organization of your choosing. We can not thank you enough for helping us and for you in making a difference. They are called “Elephants” not due to their size, but rather due to their large noses which often resemble a trunk of a true elephant.      Show notes HERE   Learn more about your ad choices.
