Episode 324:Red Colobus Collapsing

Of all the primate species, the Red Colobus Monkeys are the most endangered animals, outside of some great ape species. So much so that in fact, 14 out of the 18 species of Red Colobus are either classified as Endangered or Critically Endangered. From Central and East Africa, Red Colobus have suffered from habitat destruction, the illegal bushmeat trade, and other pressures. However, there are many organizations out there fighting to save these animals. These are such amazing small cousins to us and worth your time to learn more about.
