S05 E34: Discussing the New Vatican Document Fiducia Supplicans (On the Pastoral Meaning of Blessings)

They say there's no need for this document if no teaching was changed, but people sometimes forget, the phenomenon of government recognizing same-sex unions only became widespread recently. Obergefell v. Hodges only happened in 2015, and never in the history of mankind does the so-called same-sex marriage/unions been this ubiquitous. The Church never had to deal with it before in this magnitude, not in the time of Popes John Paul II and Benedict XVI. This pontificate had the great misfortune of having to deal with this issue.

I suggest that you read Fiducia Supplicans first. It can be found in this link: https://press.vatican.va/content/salastampa/it/bollettino/pubblico/2023/12/18/0901/01963.html#en
