S3 Ep42: True Stories From Teaching Extracurriculars and Coaching

Join this wild yet insightful episode where we take a deep dive into the world of extracurricular activities in schools. Gabe starts it off with sports and his journey as a track coach and college athlete, again, while Bri shares some entertaining stories from her time as a middle school basketball coach.

From Tell's adventures as class president to Lauran's cheerleading escapades, there's plenty of laughs and learning in this jam-packed episode. Learn how sports and extracurricular activities not only keep kids out of trouble but also teach invaluable life lessons like coping with disappointment and stepping out of comfort zones.

Bri also dives into the metaphorical depth of basketball while Lauran discusses the competitive spirit of speech and debate. Don't miss out on their candid views on today's kids' attitudes in sports, the significance of funding for extracurriculars, and some hilariously relatable moments from their teaching and coaching experiences.

Finally, ride along for a lively session of "Good or Garbage with Gabe" discussing post-game bus rides home. Tune in for this engaging episode that's as much about laughter as it is about lessons. It's all here in Teachers Off Duty – where education meets real-life experiences!
