Black British woman speaks on Prince Harry&Megan
I spoke with a Black woman from London who is vising Charlotte the other day about what black people in great Britan are saying about Prince Harry and Meagan Markle leaving the Royal family...Was it that she could not take the racism anymore? We spoke with Kate Jegede and got an interesting twist that you have never heard. LONDON — When Prince Harry and Meghan announced this week that they would be stepping back from their royal duties and spending extensive time in North America, many of Britain’s minority residents said they felt a burst of relief. At long last, many said in interviews, the couple might finally escape the abuse, much of it racially tinged, that has been heaped upon them by the British press, particularly the country’s raucous tabloids. “Thank God they are free,” said Sanaa Edness, lifting her arms to the sky as she walked through Fordham Park in southeast London. “Nobody should tolerate bullying and abusive behavior because of the color of their skin. All of this is about her race. I know it because as a Caribbean woman who did not grow up here, I have experienced it myself.”

The awkward retirement of Tom Joyner
I would have never thought that the Tom Joyner morning show Would end on somebody else’s terms outside of his own… Knowing that he would not have retired if they would’ve offered him more money, I still feel disconnected about the way he’s leaving his syndicated radio creation #tomjoyner

Being on Crack on Beatties Ford road
I don’t know what it’s like to be on drugs or addicted to crack or be a regular marijuana smoker. I never popped pills or any of that but I do have empathy for my people when I see them in that condition. The other day talked with a brother that I see frequently on Beatties Ford Road and LaSalle, and we had a conversation about his crack addiction and how he was struggling with it.
