Dr. Stacey Robinson: Better Brain, Better Love

It’s Love Month here at Modern Love and we’re kicking off with a four-part series on how to love yourself better. Tonight we’re going to talk about that most important organ of all when it comes to love: your brain! (What were you thinking, dear listener?) As Valentine’s Day approaches, it is again time to assess. The best gift you can give your lover is to bring optimum health and emotional wellness into the relationship. My guest tonight says stress, lack of exercise, and poor nutrition are killing us slowly. She says we need to follow eight essentials of health to feel, live and love better. Meet Dr. Stacey Robinson. She was born and raised in Red Bluff, a rural town in northern California. When she entered undergrad at California State University at Long Beach, she only knew that she had a deeply ingrained need to care for people. After she realized that medicine was her calling, she attended Tulane University School of Medicine on an Air Force scholarship, graduating at the top of her class in 1996. Dr. Stacey is now a functional medicine physician and the author of “Road Map to Health. “ To improve your love life, she will explain what you should be eating, which daily supplements to take, why your toothbrush type matters, and what special blood tests to ask your physician about.
