Terence brings his passion, expertise, and vision to Steve's Camp from his career in private and non-profit businesses. Early in his career, Terence worked at a top tier accounting firm, sold real estate in New York City, and traded options on Wall Street, but he found his true calling when he began working in the not for profit world.Terence is honored to be the COO of Steve’s Camp - a free summer camp for inner-city kids from the 5 boroughs of New York City. The philosophy of the camp: healthy heart, mind and body. This mission resonates with Terence because he wholeheartedly believes in exploring the outdoors as a means to social and personal growth. Going to camp when he was young was a highlight of his summers, where he learned about the outdoors, made new friends, and pushed himself to go outside of his comfort zone. Terence looks forward to growing the program organization, so more kids can have a memorable camp experience.Terence is a graduate of the New York University Stern School and resides with his wife (Rachel), son (Jonah) and dog (Tes) in New York City. He is an avid runner, passionate about traveling and a lover of the outdoors. He was born in Manhattan (yes, a true New Yorker!). While in a gambling rehab in 2002, Terence found out that that his name was pulled to run the NYC Marathon and has run the NYC Marathon every year since then - 19 consecutive times with a PR of 2:57.
