He had 5 companies by the age of 21, doing different things. He started a marketing agency doing ads for small businesses on Facebook. When Josh learned that getting and keeping customers was hard, he realized that, that was something he did not want to something he did not love to do. He needed to make a major shift in what he was doing, because he loved his customers and marketing, but he did not like feeling like he was begging for their business. He sold his part of the company, making him a 10% silent partner of it, and he started The Lucky Titan Podcast

He has always been good at being able to relate to CEOs and always pushing to win awards. In 1999 Gary got hired to run a .com they sold 20% to Microsoft after they blew up a year later. Gary says there are things that we are typically good at. We must think about what they are and then apply them wherever you are. Try to serve versus be served. Learn what you do well and then create value from it every time.

Today on the #Piratebroadcast Russ Johns invites Christine Teh. Christine started her coaching business in 2016. She stopped her corporate year for a year and started to do entrepreneurship. She gave it one year and she has completed that one. She tried to figure out how to market and where she could market. She tried Facebook (was for personal use), Instagram (she did not really understand that, it was more of a picture platform), and LinkedIn. LinkedIn mad the most sense to her, so she got on and started showing up and posting every day. Between September and December is when she started building her personal brand. She started getting her first clients in January.

Today on the #PirateBroadcast Russ Johns talks With Dr. Ai Addyson-Zhang. Ai is the founder of classroom without walls. Classroom without walls is an alternative school. She was in a high education school for 10 years and resigned last year to start her own school. Being a teacher inside the classroom showed Ai that the school system was failing the children. Everything was decreasing, Children’s imagination, creativity, and the drive to learn was all decreasing and was not being used in the future. This is the reason Ai wanted to change the reason for what she loves. She wants to give children the things they need for their future and to make it better.

But Brian tried video just for funny but did not like the way he looked or sounded, so he deleted the video. There was a challenge called 10 tips 10 days and that helped him get more comfortable with the camera and be able to continue to do his videos. Brian has done animation and illustration for 12 years prior.
