A UFOlogist is pretty much anyone who studies the topic and shares their research. Just like journalists, there isn’t a UFOlogy certification. On top of that, those that seek to foster the stigma are more than pleased to slather pseudoscience over the term. In that respect, I’d not consider myself any sort of ‘ologist, more of a layperson translator. I’m seeking to advance understanding.
