I tried, you know? But that’s not cinema. Honestly, the closest I can think of them, as well made as they are, with actors doing the best they can under the circumstances, is theme parks. It isn’t the cinema of human beings trying to convey emotional, psychological experiences to another human being."   The Question: Is Martin Scorsese belittling superhero movies and those who make and enjoy them?   The Rules: Only one person can speak at a time. When the speaker is out of time, they must stop talking. Personal insults are not allowed! Brad watched the available episodes of the new season of Great British Baking Show, has been watching Good Talk with Anthony Jeselnik, rewatched Cabin in the Woods, Hoai-Tran saw Ad Astra, Lucy in the Sky, The Lighthouse, Inside Llewyn Davis, saw First Cow and Varda by Agnes at NYFF and has revisited an old favorite anime Inuyasha.
