Trey Lance provides bright spot in 49ers' loss to rival Seahawks as injuries mount

Trey Lance stepped in for an injured Jimmy Garoppolo but the 49ers couldn't overcome key mistakes in a 28-21 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Lance is expected to get the start next week against the Cardinals. Trent Williams also left Sunday's game with an injury adding to a long list of injuries for a San Francisco team that finds itself falling behind in the stacked NFC West.
