Back in the day, Phil was a wildland firefighter in the Rocky Mountains, but after a major back injury, he moved back to where he grew up to plant his roots. Fast forward 20 years and Phill has been a passionate sales leader of teams of up to 600 people. Melanie Curtis is a professional skydiver who led a group of  80 women skydivers from 22 countries to make history by setting a new world record: the largest all-women head-down (“vertical”) skydive. Named Project 19 after the 19th Amendment that gave women the right to vote, the spectacle celebrated women’s rights and highlighted women’s issues.Though they aimed for a record of 100, this fantastic team still got it done (breaking the 2016 record of 65). They took 29 jumps in total, including practice and warm-ups. The ladies pulled off the only successful skydiving world record this year; there were two others mixed men/women.Melanie has completed over 12,000 jumps to date and is a sought-after speaker and consultant. Melanie also co-hosts her own podcast, Trust the Journey with Jason Moledzki, which focuses on creating conscious connections through raw and vulnerable sharing.
