Will chats with DJ Martinee the multi-platinum record-selling songwriter and producer, who helped pioneer freestyle music in the 1980s.In 1984, DJ Martinee formed the hit vocal group Exposé, which became the first to attain four Top 10 songs on the Billboard Hot 100, including the song written by our guest “Seasons Change.” In fact, he wrote all of the songs on the band’s first album “Exposure” and most of the tracks on their 1989 follow up “What You Don’t Know.”DJ Martinee has also produced, written and remixed tracks for a number of other popular artists, including Ricky Martin, Dead or Alive, Celine Dion and The Pet Shop Boys. Today, our guest continues to working on new music in the studio and spinning hits as a DJ in the clubs.His latest group O-Baby, which includes Laurie Miller, a founding member of Exposé, will be performing March 7 at Café 27 in Southwest Ranches, Florida.
