Proof Of The Resurrection
Most of history is based on eyewitness accounts. This is always the most credible and factual establishment of what took place at any given time in history. The four main proofs of the resurrection of Jesus Christ are these: 1. The empty tomb. The tomb was sealed and guarded by Roman soldiers who would lose their life if the body was stolen. 2. The eyewitnesses. Many saw Jesus, ate with Him, touched Him, and spent time with Him. The New Testament was written when most of the eyewitnesses were still living. 3. The transformed apostles after His resurrection. The eleven apostles went from living in fear of the religious leaders to boldly proclaiming Jesus in the face of persecution or even death. 4. The 300 Old Testament prophecies fulfilled by Jesus.
