Phillip Lindsay has been a student and teacher of the Ageless Wisdom and Esoteric Astrology for over thirty years.  As a prolific writer and documentary film-maker, Phillip's literary accomplishments include the Soul Cycles of the Seven Rays series, Destiny of the Races & Nations Vol. I-V, and The Initiations of Krishnamurti.  His brilliant documentary, The Hidden History of Humanity is an esoteric historical account of the rootraces from Lemuria and Atlantis to present day - into the future Sixth Rootrace.  He has presented his work at many spiritual institutions and esoteric education groups around the world, touring extensively since 2001 – as a perpetual traveler and global citizen. As an avid student of metaphysics and farming innovator, Chris Winters of The Fertile Current is Light years ahead of the conventional farming community.  This Part II episode continues Alfacast's exploration into everything Electroculture, and the perfect follow-up to our interview with Matt Roeske from Cultivate Elevate.  Electroculture, sometimes known as Magneto-culture, simply put is the agricultural utilization of feeble voltage to stimulate electro-magnetic actions in the soil. These actions catalyze the transmuting of elements within the soil which have an array of benefits. This transmutation of soil elements was referred to by Rudolf Steiner as “Spiritual Digestion”.  "I had been introduced to electroculture early in our farming endeavor but it didn’t “click” until I was rooted in my Qigong studies." After growing up in an urban environment, Chris Winters and his wife made the conscious decision to raise their son in a rural setting, farming a piece of land that had been left fallow for many years. As first generation vegetable farmers, they necessarily learned from experience, and what Chris describes as a journey of a lifetime. In Medical Qigong, one of the basic exercises is known as “Pulling Down Heavens.” In this exercise, positive yang solar energy (chi) is collected and paired with negative yin earth energy. When combined and conducted through the practitioner, these energies create a balanced energy (chi, prana, life force) thus encouraging vitality, balance and overall health. What a few weeks it's been!  While the best-ever Music & Sky gathering raged menacing fires threatened the AV Farm, but the 2023 harvest has commenced amidst the chaos & uncertainty.  We had to vacate the farm and suspend all Alfa Vedic business, but we're back!  Fire is the element of purification, but the unbridled effects of this powerful force has been harnessed since antiquity to displace & conquer indigenous populations.  Recent fires drove that reality too close to home, but we survived and have returned to our beloved off-grid home with a heightened sense of mission. Mike & I thought it would be fun to do a recap of recent events for Alfacast this Thursday.  As usual we'll introspect through the larger lense of these historical times. When fall farm duties lessen we'll be channelling our energies into our new membership site, while we continue the development of our AV workshop-retreat.
