Surgery During Alien Abductions

What if the nightmares were real?

For decades, Erik Nanstiel lived with the creeping dread that something was happening to him—something hidden just beneath the surface of memory. Strange lights. Missing time. Haunting dreams that felt more like intrusions than imagination.

Then came the moment when memory returned. And with it, a terrifying realization: he was part of something much larger—and far more invasive—than he had ever feared.

Told with raw honesty and chilling detail, Angst in the Shadows is the true story of one man’s lifelong encounters with non-human entities. From childhood to adulthood, Erik was subjected to experiments, hybrid programs, and physical manipulations by beings that seem to operate outside human understanding—and without human consent.

Part memoir, part investigation, and part existential reckoning, this book explores the trauma, transformation, and lingering mystery of alien abduction. It dares to ask: what do they want from us—and what are we becoming?
