In this story, Aphra meets Vader for the first time after the destruction of the first Death Star. Vader uses Aphra to help him with different missions and investigations. The thing Vader becomes fixated on and asks Aphra to help with is finding out more info on Luke Skywalker. Vader, as well as Aphra, eventually figures out that Padme gave birth to a son before her death and that Luke is Vader’s son.
