Win Against the Lakers, Emergence of Shai, and Looming Regular Season.
Always nice to beat that other LA team, even if in the meaningless preseason. The Clippers and Lakers played a fairly monotonous game, but the Clippers pulled away and won comfortably. The preseason is nearing its conclusion, and the Clippers still have a ton of questions, particularly about their backcourt. One thing is for sure, is that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is emerging as an opening day rotation player, and many would hope to be a starter. How does the rest of the roster look? What should we look for in these last couple of preseason games? All that and more on the latest the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Aloha Clippers! Preseason Debut, Jimmy Butler Rumors, and First Game Rotations.
The Clippers are finally back, and Preseason is underway. The Clippers had a fairly easy win over Andrew Bogut and the Sydney Kings in Hawaii, and there were a few interesting wrinkles in the rotation that seemed fairly ready for the regular season. The 4 guards most expected to gobble up most of the minutes did, but what about players like Jerome Robinson? How good did Tobias Harris, Patrick Beverley, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander look today? What do we think of this rotation? And what about all those Jimmy Butler rumors? Plenty to talk about on the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The Austin Rivers Clippers Retrospective, and Gallo Hype?
August is a slow month in the NBA, but Clipper basketball continues on. In this episode we talk about Austin Rivers and how the brash kid grew up before our very eyes to become the brash man. Austin Rivers forced his way into our hearts, but it was not always that way. We also chat about a healthy Danilo Gallinari, his MVP performance in the Team World vs. Team Africa game, and what it might mean going forward. We also say farewell to Sam Dekker as he was traded for cash in order to become the new LeBron James in Cleveland. All that and your questions as always, on the latest episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Return of Trez, and Kawhi to the Raps
Disclaimer: Rob was having some technical difficulties, leading to his side of the pod sounding more muffled than usual. Apologies for that, should have it fixed next time. The Clippers have had a fairly predictable summer so far, in a summer that did have some potential for explosive moves. They are mostly bringing the band back together for next year, with the exception of signficiantly downgrading at center but adding some more depth in its stead. A huge lingering question was at least answered temporarily with Kawhi Leonard being dealt to the Raptors. Tobias Harris also just recently and predictably turned down a Clipper extension as the two sides continue to have discussions. How do Rob and Shap feel about the roster? Are there more moves lingering? Where will Kawhi Leonard be this time next year? All those and of course your twitter questions on this episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast! First Week of Summer League, SGA, and Free Agent Moves
July and Vegas. The Clippers are featured this Summer League with a couple of lottery picks, and so far, things are looking promising. While Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been phenomenal, a gimpy Jerome Robinson has also shown flashes of his microwave-type potential. Sindarius Thornwell has also shown improvement in his game, particularly his jumper. Does anyone else standout from this roster? How do the promising Clipper kids figure into next year's rotation? The crew also recaps some offseason moves, and take a moment to look back on DeAndre Jordan and his career with the Clippers. Emergency Pod: Clippers Trade Austin Rivers for Marcin Gortat
Another one bites the dust. The Clippers lost another piece from the Lob City Era, with Austin Rivers being swapped with Marcin Gortat. Is this a sign that an even bigger piece of that time will also be gone soon in DeAndre Jordan? How will we remember Austin Rivers? What do the guys think of Gortat? What other dominoes will fall? So many questions, and the gang is here to break it down on the newest episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Free Agency and Summer League
Basketball never sleeps. The Clippers made some headlines over the NBA Draft, for possibly some good and wrong reasons, but now that they have a deck of cards, which ones will they keep? How many guards can possibly stay on this roster? Is Kawhi Leonard still a trade target? And of course, Summer League rosters are quietly being assembled, and we have another set of games to chat about. With a couple of intriguing lottery picks on the team, this Summer League might be just as fascinating as any one the Clippers have had, and that's saying something considering some of the talent on those summer rosters during the early Blake Griffin era.
