"In the Gospel of Luke 5:1-11, Peter and his fellow fishermen are exhausted. They've been out all night, casting their nets repeatedly, and they've caught nothing. Not a single fish. The sun is starting to rise, and with that sinking feeling of defeat comes. They're pulling the nets back in, tired and discouraged. The night is over, and it's time to head back to shore—empty."

"As they're cleaning their nets, Jesus appears. He steps into Peter's boat and asks him to push it out a little from shore so that He can teach the gathered crowd. Peter, still tired, agrees. He pushes out into the water and listens to Jesus speak, probably wondering how much longer this will take before he can go home and rest."
