Retro Rugby Crusaders v Sharks Super Rugby 2011

Welcome to the first Retro Rugby show where we look back at a memorable game from the past.

To kick us off John suggested the Crusaders v Sharks at Twickenham in 2011. Still the only Super Rugby game to be played in Europe. I was a little surprised that a Sharks supporter would want to revisit this game but it was a pearler.

Mikey mentioned in our group chat that he still uses one of the strike moves from this game in his rugby coaching. Clearly this game had a big impact on him and so I had to get him on as well to talk about his recollections of the game.
