Manchester United beat Chelsea 2-1 in the Adobe Women's FA Cup semi final to book a place at Wembley for the second consecutive season. Lucia Garcia opened the scoring in 41 seconds followed by a second from the veteran Rachel Williams. Former red Lauren James grabbed one back for the Blues but they could not get a second to give hopes to their treble and Emma Haye's final farewell tour.

The treble dreams is halted at Leigh Sports Village at the hands of Marc Skinner, who gets his first ever victory over Emma Hayes and his second consecutive final with United.
