In this episode I talk about the futility of looking for investors before you have some level of success. If you have an invention – sell 1000 and then you'll have a basis for getting investors. If you are a software developer, develop something that 1500 people sign up for with a monthly fee. If you're an author, write a book and sell 2000 copies – then publishers will talk to you about your next one. If you're an artist and you're looking for investors, show them pictures of the last 20 pieces you sold.

Finding money is not your challenge – producing something that people will pay for is your first step.
