Action Surge Episode 47

Aoife went out for milk. We are sure she will come back for us eventually, but while we wait for her return and her love, let’s talk about everything that happened in episode 47, and a whole bunch of other stuff, too.

This episode really was all about the race, and we absolutely have to give Harry his flowers for everything he put together and how perfectly it came together in the end. A special mention also goes to Harry’s wife for the beautiful arts and crafts diorama that brought the whole thing to life.

We take a deep dive into the mechanics for each district, the stats of the ships and crews, and how each one felt genuinely unique. Harry even designed his own version of a Mario Kart blue shell for the finale (thanks for that). We talk about the gorgeous boat Mark from Crafted Campaigns sent over for the race, how we broke it, how we broke it some more, and how we nearly didn’t have any other minis because the Uber driver thought we might be shipping drugs.

We also spent some time talking about Raidion, the Thornbears, and how fun it might be to start exploring that thread further. Plus, we all agree that Kelnys is totally proficient with panpipes, and that Aoife was rolling so badly this episode that she more or less went through the full stages of grief.
