Home workouts - My top tips (as a pro)

Home workouts - My top tips (as a pro)

Gyms are scary.

They are inconvenient.

They are time consuming.

They are somewhere which lets face it, unless you love the gym you don't really want to be.

That's why 90% of the ladies I coach only do home workouts.

I'm a bit of a pro at them.

You name it - I can do a home workout for it, I can work around injuries, I can work around time, I can work around preferences.

I can make a safe and effective home workout for anyone.

So here's my tips for you around home workouts -

1 - Have a plan and a coach (I would say that wouldn't I?) however it's true.

2 - Leave the light pink weights alone and get yourself 2x5kg dumbbells and a 16kg kettlebell - they aren't too heavy for you!

3 - Reframe exercising in front of the kids.

4 - Have a conversation around who is going to look after the children whilst you are working out.

5 - Romatisie it - make the space nice, wear what you want to wear - it's your time.

6 - Make it short, 30 mins tops.

All these things combine to make you enjoy the workout, when you enjoy it you do it consistently, when you do it consistently you get results.

You feel stronger, fitter and healthier in both body and mind.

And who doesn't want that?

Why I only trust evidence-based nutrition (and what it's got to do with your relationship with food)

Someone sent me a supplement in my DMs this week. It had 1,500 reviews and was £25 for 30 capsules, so £50 a month for her and her husband. I had a look on PubMed for evidence that it works. Turns out...
