Egypt Covington: The Wrong House Killing

On the night of June 22nd, 2017, 27-year-old Egypt Covington went to yoga, texted her boyfriend goodnight, and went to bed. The next evening, he found her on the floor of her living room... tied up with Christmas lights... killed by a single gunshot wound to the head. It was the middle of June.

No forced entry. No robbery. No obvious motive.

For three years, local police chased the wrong leads and publicly named an innocent man as a person of interest. All while sitting on a geofence warrant that had the answer from the start.

It took Egypt's family, a 14,000-signature petition, and a transfer to the Michigan State Police to finally get the truth.

Morgan and Kaelyn trace every clue... from the Christmas lights, to the bright blue truck caught on a gas station camera, to the DNA match that finally put names to a senseless crime.
