Victor Malone is a 27-year Navy veteran turned mortgage professional who brings precision, integrity, and a deep understanding of service to the world of home lending. Having lived in over 40 different homes during his military career, Vic knows firsthand the challenges and complexities service members face when it comes to homeownership.

Following his retirement from the Navy in 2012—where he served as a propulsion plant operator, navigator, and engineer on submarines—Victor initially planned to work as a defense contractor. But after losing his home in a wildfire and navigating the rebuilding process, he encountered the mortgage world from the borrower’s side. That experience, combined with his analytical mindset and commitment to service, led him to become a licensed mortgage broker.

Since founding Peak Seven Mortgage in 2015, Victor has dedicated his career to helping fellow veterans, active-duty members, and first-time homebuyers understand and maximize their VA loan benefits. Known for his straightforward, educational approach, Victor excels at breaking down complex topics like funding fees, yield spreads, and loan structures to empower borrowers to make informed decisions.

He is an active moderator in the Vetted VA community, where he supports veterans and professionals alike with honest advice, strategic insights, and a collaborative spirit.
