The Color Breath: Your Monday Reset in Minutes

The Color Breath: Your Monday Reset in Minutes

Hey there, it's Julia. Welcome back, or welcome if this is your first time with me. I'm so glad you're here, especially on a Monday morning when the week is still stretching out ahead of you like an unmade bed. I'm guessing you're feeling at least a little bit of that familiar weight, that tightness somewhere in your chest or shoulders. Am I right? That's exactly what we're here to untangle together today. You know, stress is like water finding cracks in a dam. It seeps in everywhere, and before you know it, you're carrying tension you didn't even realize was there. So today, we're going to practice something I call the Relief Release, and I promise it's going to feel like opening a window on a stuffy day. Let's start by getting comfortable. Sit however feels natural, whether that's cross-legged, in a chair, or even lying down. There's no perfect posture for this. Just find a spot where your body feels like it can actually relax. Go ahead, adjust yourself. I'll wait. Now, I want you to notice your breath without changing it. Just watch it like you're observing clouds passing through the sky. Your breath doesn't need to be deep or perfect or anything other than what it already is. In and out. That's it. In and out. Here's where the real magic happens. I want you to take a deliberate breath in through your nose, and as you do, imagine breathing in a color that represents calm to you. Maybe it's blue like the ocean, or green like a forest. Whatever feels right. Hold it for just a moment, and then release it with a gentle sigh, like you're letting go of the weight of the day. Do this again. Breathe in your color. Hold it. And sigh it out, letting your shoulders drop as you release. Again. In with calm. Out with tension. In with what you need. Out with what you don't. Let yourself find a rhythm here. This isn't rushed. This is your time. One more round, and this time, as you exhale, imagine that tension is literally leaving your body like smoke, rising up and away. It's not yours to carry anymore. Beautiful. Just sit with this for a moment. Notice how your body feels different than when we started. That shift you just experienced? You can create that anywhere, anytime. Before a meeting, in your car, even in a bathroom stall if that's what your day requires. Just remember your color, your breath, and that sigh. Thank you so much for being here with me today and for dedicating these few minutes to yourself. That matters more than you know. Please subscribe so you never miss a practice, and remember, stress relief isn't about becoming a different person. It's about remembering who you already are underneath all the noise. I'll see you next time. For great deals today, check out https://amzn.to/47ZqpWT
